PLEDGE TO VOTE NOV. 3
Thank you to all 840,448 Southeastern Michigan citizens who turned out to vote in the Aug. 4 primary election!
We're thrilled that Wayne County voters overwhelming voted for a millage that will connect Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties with one public transit system for the first time in more than 30 years! This is a massive win for the many residents, especially ALICE families, seniors, young people and people with disabilities who rely on public transit every day.
The general election takes place Nov. 3. Let's keep the ball rolling! Take our pledge to vote and make sure you get the information you need to cast your ballot. |

DISCOVERWORKS WRAPS UP SUMMER 2026 Another year of DiscoverWorks is in the books! Thank you to the teachers, site coordinators, bus drivers, kitchen staff and everyone else who spent their summer ensuring that the program was successful.
Kids learned times tables with jump ropes. They built model community gardens out of LEGO bricks, then talked about what a real garden needs to stay alive. Reading, math and hands-on activities were on the schedule every day. One student told us they learned how to make new friends. Another said the teachers made last year's lessons hard to forget.
This summer's sessions are over, but signups for next year will be open before you know it. We'll see you in 2027! |
